Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking an experienced, conscientious, and friendly Certified Medical Assistant. This full-time position will require the individual to perform a variety of back-office tasks and patient care responsibilities.

This position requires someone with excellent critical thinking skills, detail-oriented, and can multi-task. Must also be able to problem solve and work well under stressful situations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be certified

  • Experience in dermatology and/or plastics is a plus

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • EMR experience with EMA (desktop and iPad) is a plus

  • Sterilization knowledge and experience

  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

  • Must be punctual, dependable, and have reliable transportation


Front Desk Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced, conscientious, and friendly Front Desk Administrative Assistant. This full-time position will be responsible for new patient check-in, treating all patients in a professional and courteous manner. Reviews patient demographics to verify necessary information and ensures that all signatures have been obtained. Enter new patient information into the computer. Responsible for explaining, and collecting deductibles, past due balances, and coinsurance from patients in a professional and courteous manner. Review patient insurance information to verify patient eligibility and coverage benefit details. Ensure patient demographics are entered completely and correctly. Make the patient feel welcome to the practice.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One year minimum experience in medical practice (Preferred)

  • One year customer service (Preferred)

  • One year Insurance Verification (Preferred)

  • One year of experience in Medical Assisting is a plus
